Q. Who are Paul Leegan & The Legends?...
Paul Leegan & The Legends are a hot rockin' 4 piece line up who present skiffle and country blues music that the likes of Lonnie Donegan, Chris Barber and Ken Colyer were first to popularise in the 1950's and by other more recent performers such as Van Morrision and Bruce Springsteen.
The band perform countless skiffle, country, blues, jazz and folk hits and also some less known material, they also contribute many of their own songs such as the fantastic 'Down The Mississippi', which is featured on the bands recent album and is available through HMV and this website and is criticaly acclaimed by BBC Radio 2.

Others have 'taken up' the cause, including Van Morrison with his 'Skiffle Sessions' album, even more up to date, Bruce Springsteen with his Seeger Session Band CD, DVD and BBC concerts. Other artists who played skiffle include Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Roger Daltrey, Pete Townsend, Brian May, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones and millions of other great names of show business.

The band have stunned the crowds at many major events in recent years including the Grand Order of Water Rats, Grosvenor House Hotel, Marlborough Jazz Festival, Upton Jazz Festival, The Americana Festival, Clifton Reynes Festival, Reading Real Ale & Jazz Festival, Langholm Music Festival and many more public events.
